England took control of the game, as Aussies catapulted to 156/8.
Earlier England were all out for 435. Strauss was eventually out for a well compiled 161. Aussies started well and were 100/2, when disaster struck. Katich was caught by Broad for 48 and Hussey was bowled by Flintoff for 51. Clarke was out to Anderson for 1 and North was out for a duck.
Australia furthur lost Johnson and Haddin and at close was 156/8. Aussies need 70 runs to avoid the follow on.
The game threatens Australia’s 75 year old invincible record. England may go on the rampage tomorrow as conditions favour England.
England are going on the rampage now and they are 273/5. Prior scored a quickfire 61. Collingwood is 40 not out and England lead now by 483 runs !
