The 36 States of the Moon or Chandra Velas
In our previous article, we have defined the Chandra Avasthas or the 12 states of the Moon.
Let us now define the Chandra Velas, the 36 Lunar States.
A constellation is divided by 36 and so we have .3704 of a degree as a part.
Chandra Vela = 13.332/36 = 0.3704 degrees
A constellation of 13 deg 20 minutes has, in other words, 36 parts of 0.3704 degrees. These are the 36 Lunar States. Depends on which part Moon is in.
Find out the longitude of the Moon. Find out in which part he is in. The Phalam is the result of the Moon being in that particular state.
This is another diagnostic tool to help the horary astrologer to understand and predict the querent’s queries.
