This is the best batting line up and the most explosive - Kapil Dev
So true ! And 392/4 seems like an ordinary score, when you consider that Sachin is batting with the likes of
Sehwag
Gambhir
Yuvraj
Dhoni
Raina
& Y Pathan !
I call them the Splendid Seven ! There are other nomenclatures
Super Seven
Stupendous Seven
Spectacular Seven
and so on !
No doubt, this is the most explosive ODI batting line up. We wonder why India lost to NZ in the T20s ! ( despite these people being around ).
India were 21/2 when Yuvraj walked in. His six sixes left the New Zealanders spellbound. From then Sachin carried over. Sachin hit 5 sixes, Yuvraj six, Dhoni two and Raina Five. A total of 18 sixes. The Kiwis hit 13 sixes, setting a world record of 31 sixes hit in a match !
All India is ecstatic with such splendid batting performance by the Splendid Seven ! We expect more fireworks from these Seven Wonders !
